Fully appreciating the lost art of intricate hand craftsmanship, I have chosen to dedicate my one of a kind custom designs, fabrics, trims and accessories into developing personalized couture shades that return to an era when attention to the slightest detail was the sole priority of the enterprise.
Living in the French Quarter of New Orleans, my reputation is well known and respected in faux finishes for commercial and upscale residential properties. Blending color, texture and distinction of design has now allowed me to perform the same artistry with fine fabrics.
In the late fall of 2005 after surviving the perils of Katrina, Reflection Designs established a new venture, Couture Shades of Illumination . Combining fabulous colors and textures, these Shades transform a simple lamp base into a cherished and ever increasingly valuable possession.
Our in-house artisans are truly special in their ability to translate my designs into hand creations with dedication of personal pride in every shade produced. Each shade is hand sewn in the old world method long lost in today's mass production. Our shades evoke warmth from the past when lighting was intended to create elegance, mystery, the lure of romance and tranquility in any environment.
