  • Why does nothing happen when I click on the lamp?
    You probably have pop-up blocker enabled. This will need to be disabled OR if you don't want to do that you can just hold down the CTRL button while clicking on the lamp.



  • Why won't the lampshades turn on when I move the cursor over it?
    You may be running an older browser or Operating System. For web pages that are more compatible with your setup, click on the Intro page, then click on the small link 'here' at the bottom.


  • What if there's something else wrong with the site?
    Please inform the webmaster immediately at webmaster@coutureshades.com. Thank you.


Products

  • Why do your lamp shades seem expensive?
    My designs are thought out and sketched and re-sketched, fabrics matched for color translation,  and illuminative properties.  All frames are sanded, hand wrapped.  The creation of design carried out by my artists are applied through pattern, application, fabric cut, application and then proceeding to trim.  Our lampshades average at least 36 man hours to produce.


  • Is all of beaded trim created in-house?
    Anastasia fabricates all of my designs that are applied to our shades in bead art.  She will do one of a kind designs or duplicate any fabric design and is also available for specialty projects large or small that involve beading. Please contact me via e-mail or phone if you have a specific design you would like or one will be designed specifically for you.



  • Do you personalize lamp shades for the customer?
    I am pleased to offer personalized shades from our fabrics or your own.  Selection of size, style, fabric color and type of your lamp shade will be guided by me personally, with my complete dedication to translate your shade to fit your lamp.  You can choose from many more styles of shades than are listed on the frame page.  Please contact me, I will be happy to provide all the information regarding your personal style and design.


  • What other products do you offer?
    Hat Boxes! I have added a line of custom faux finished hat boxes and fabric boxes creating a wonderful presentation for gift giving of my shades or holding other treasures.

Note: Very large shades may be too big for the hat boxes; Custom hat box prices are base prices that may increase according to styles and embellishments.


  • Who is responsible or liable for misuse of any product?
    Reflections Design LLC is not responsible for misuse or misapplication for any sold item such as exceeding recommended bulb wattages, placement of shades too close to flame, burns from usage, attachment of shades to any object, fading from excessive direct sunlight and any other potential liability of use.


  • What is the pricing on the candle sleeves and bulbs?
    Please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with prices and sizing your candle sleeves and any questions regarding our realistic  bulbs.



Ordering

  • How long will it take to process my order?
    If you are requesting a personalized lamp shade please allow 4 to 6 weeks to ship. 


  • Do you barter or give discounts based on referrals?
    With respect to industry trade please contact me via e-mail to provide your  appropriate id number which may qualify you for professional considerations .


     
  • Do personalized orders (not stock items) from first time buyers require a deposit?
    Yes, 50% of the order.


  • Do you offer discounts for professionals?
    Yes. Price points reductions are available to professional trades. Pleas contact Kathleen via e-mail with your tax ID number and your type of business. Points are per volume of sales on a sliding scale starting at 10%.

  • Are there minimum order quantities required?
    No, except for chandeliers or sconces which are sold in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 unit packages only. Odd number sets priced by request.


  • Will my order be confirmed?
    Yes, upon receipt of your order a "live" person will contact you by phone to be sure the item, price, shipping, etc. is verbally verified.


  • Will my order be kept on record?
    All orders are kept on file for one year of date of purchase should duplicates be ordered.

  • Is my credit card safe as received by Reflections?
    Yes, absolutely. All credit card transactions are processed through Authorize.Net and an Authorize.Net certified shopping cart using a 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.


  • What is your Return Policy?

Shipping

  • Where do you ship to?
    We will ship to any location in the world. Shipping costs will vary by country and by lampshade size.


  • When will my order ship?
    With credit card verification or receipt of certified funds, in stock product(s) will ship within 24 business hours via UPS Ground Service.


  • Who is responsible for shipping damages should that occur?
    The shipping box is actually a double unit and packed for added protection but the insurance is included in the shipping cost.
